i've been updating the currently and links sections intermittently without logging it here, so don't think i haven't touched this site for a month. but i sort of feel stuck in a rut :( i'm not sure exactly what direction to go in with this site and everything i think about that i want to implement is too complex for my current skill level.

haven't had the opportunity to work on this enough lately :(( trying to fix that and work on it more in my free time. i haven't given up on a guestbook! it'll happen someday! in the meantime, added another few articles to my links page. also updated the currently section on my about me, as i do every time i log on :)

we got so much done today!! i added an entire introduction section/revamped the home page, and the about me is thankfully no longer under construction. i'll miss that gif... but my site already looks so much better than it did even a week ago!

HELL YEAH WE'VE GOT A SIDEBAR!!! FUCKING FINALLY!! Unfortunately, somehow getting that made all my images un-center align so. Yeah. Small victories seem to be the name of the game.
-later-Links have all been added to the My Favorite Links section! I'm going to change the formatting of all this at some point (hopefully...) but feeling pretty good about what's done now B)

added the links section! I need to figure out how to change the id of the list constituting my navbar, so that I can make a list for the links that doesn't follow the same formatting. also you might have noticed there's still no real sidebar or layout. Please don't talk to me about that.

WE GOT NAVIGATION!!! and the about me page has been created!!! Now if only I could figure out how to move the navigation to the side... The code itself also feels very cramped to me, but I have zero basis for what it's supposed to look like so I don't know if I'm doing it wrong. Also finally centered Gudetama on my home page lmfao

argh, I've been trying to figure out how to create a sidebar forever but I just am not grasping the mechanics of it. on the bright side, I added a title and favicon! woooo #smallvictories

Created the site! I'm using W3Schools HTML tutorial to learn the basics of building a site on HTML, so I'm adding elements to the website as I go. Today I added most of the stuff on the home page.
