well... about me!
hmm... i don't know what to say here. i sort of doubt i'll get traffic on this site from people who don't know me in real life. but for the sake of vanity, let me introduce myself regardless. i'm rhea! i'm 24 and i'm from california. i enjoy picking up new hobbies, seeing movies with my friends, and getting into fun arguments. i dislike passive-aggression, green bell peppers, and messy people. some of my short term goals are to learn to sew, to practice/pick up new languages, to move, and to catch up to michelle on beli (that one will never happen). my dream is to live a life where i have a net positive impact on the world, however small. i have trouble with follow-through so i'm hoping this site will be the exception to that!

- color: purple! (if you can't tell by this site... lmao)
- food: honestly, i have a lot. probably either soup dumplings, mac and cheese, or chaat (favorite chaat dish: dahi papdi chaat). or dosa.
- book: i try to read as much as possible, so this is also difficult. some of my favorites in the past year or so have been rejection by tony tulathimutte, say nothing by patrick radden keefe, and martyr! by kaveh akbar. my favorite book as a child was all the light we cannot see by anthony doerr :) here's my storygraph account if you want to stay up to date with what i'm reading.
- movie: i think i've seen bridget jones' diary over a dozen times. it's a perfect movie to me. i also LOVE the 2005 pride and prejudice, even though i've never been able to get through the book. click here to read through my hilarious, thoughtful, groundbreaking letterboxd account.
- drink: osmanthus milk tea, lightly sweetened.
- scent: jasmine and sandalwood

- listening: to a set of music that's old(ish) but new to me. lots of radiohead, d'angelo, the libertines.
- reading: the new lily king novel, heart the lover and hoping it'll be good.
- watching: broad city! it was recommended to me by so many friends and i'm glad to say it totally lives up to the hype.
- planning: the new edition of the zine...
- hoping: that i *** **** *** ******
- trying: to wake up at a reasonable time every day :P
